Roga Adhisthana: The Seat of Disease by Dr Dushyant Nirmal certified Ayurvedic Doctor from India in Latvia and Germany
In Ayurveda, Roga Adhisthana translates to the "site or seat of disease." It is a fundamental concept that identifies the specific locations in the body where a disease process (pathogenesis) manifests and resides.
Think of it as the "home base" of an illness. Just as a tree has roots, a trunk, and branches, a disease has a root cause (Nidana), a pathogenesis process (Samprapti), and a primary site of manifestation (Adhisthana).
Classification of Seat of Disease are two in numbers -
☀️ Kaya (body)- physical illness happened to different organ or different channels in body.
☀️Mana(mind)- physiological issue when disease happened in mind.
